Bon Jovi is approximately one-year old.  He is a male, black & white cat.   Bon Jovi was originally thought to have CH (Cerebellar Hypoplasia) or “wobbly cat syndrome” but since Bon Jovi has been on medication for his severe ear infections, he is not as wobbly.  At Bon Jovi’s last vet appointment, he was evaluated as not having CH but an ear infection and possible polyps in his left ear – causing his unsteadiness.  The polyps have been removed. But Bon Jovi does have Horner’s Syndrome.  This is a neurological condition caused by a disruption of the sympathetic nerve pathway supplying the eye and face.  It usually affects only one side and features four classic signs:  a constricted pupil, an elevated third eyelid and a sunken eye appearance, and a droopy upper eyelid (Bon Jovi doesn’t have this last feature).

Bon Jovi is a very affectionate and playful cat.  He LOVES Temptation treats!  Bon Jovi does not play well with other cats, but he has had two different buddies during foster care, and he did really well with them.  Too many cats in the household causes Bon Jovi to be a little too aggressive with his play.

Foster to adopt is a great way to see if Bon Jovi is a good fit for your home and lifestyle.
